Physics night
Just finished the abc's of podcasting sem. It was ok but my skills were a bit above the intended audience. Live and learn. The real value in this was helping the two older teachers from st. Louis learn how to download iTunes and use it in their class. I'm now at physics night. A sem I heard about on the bus over here. Good presenter from Rutgers (bill probably knows him) doing some really great low tech but effective demos. Sponsered by pasco. Def need a nap though. Presenting, learning and walking around the French quarter can wear you out!

You all did a great job pulling together your posters and handouts for your sessions. Bravo!!
ReplyDeleteLet's put together a giant group of MISEP people for this day next year - Emily Van Zee, the coordinator, has asked me to help organize when the convention is in Philly next year, so if people want to present in this day in particular, please send me 100 words description and a 25 word abstract and title. There are many ways to get involved in presenting at NSTA, but if you want to participate in the teacher researcher day in particular, send it to me and I'll it all together into a large session proposal with the cohort 3 teachers.
Enjoy the rest of the time, and keep us all posted!
